Macarons were introduced around the 16th Century, by Queen Catherine De Medici, who brought the sweet treat to France.

The macarons that we know today are slightly different from the original Italian macaron, which was an almond meringue cookie, served separately crisp on the outside and soft on the inside.

Until the 1830s that macarons begin to be served two-by-two with the addition of jams, and spices. This is the macaron we know today. Pierre Desfontaines of the French patisserie Ladurée has sometimes been credited with its creation in the early part of the 20th century.

Macarons contain eggs, dairy, and nuts. Macaroons may contain other allergens because we work in a common area.

The minimum order is 12 pieces per flavor of macaron.

You can select pickup or delivery during checkout on our website. For pickup, our delivery address is 271 Lafayette Circle, Lafayette, CA 94549. When you pick up the cake in our kitchen location we will bring the cake out to your car and help situate the cake to make transport easy.

If you cancel 4-6 days before your cake's due date, we will offer you a store credit in the amount of your order total. If you cancel within 3 days of your due date, we will charge you the full price of your cake.
